The Project Specialist supports the US Channel Store Operations (CSO) team specifically with deployment execution and New Product Introduction (NPI) support. The fixture deployment process relies heavily on the exchange, markup and follow-up with reseller partners across a well documented deployment workflow process. Deployment documents are managed through Apple's proprietary workflow management system and with reseller, manufacturer and installers file transfer protocol (FTP) sites. Additionally, each step within the process needs to be tracked to ensure service level agreements (SLA) are met. Additional duties including supporting NPI activities with tracking/shipping materials and managing a 3rd party vendor that warehouses and distributes NPI graphics. Lastly, NPI and deployment support includes auditing post installation reports (PIR) to confirm activities were executed by external vendors to Apple's brand standards and expectations.

Description

In this role, you will: - Maintain and update internal databases by accurately entering required information Input detailed information for multiple channel sales programs with a high degree of accuracy - Reconcile and verify data in internal databases by comparing information with email and spreadsheet records - Identify and report any data discrepancies found during reconciliation processes - Obtain required documents to support cross-functional teams, vendors, and accounts - Upload and download necessary documents to/from internal and external systems efficiently - Track project activities, identifying and reporting missed deadlines - Follow up with vendors to address and close out punch-list items post-fixture installation - Oversee vendor purchase order (PO) management, budgeting, tracking, and scheduling - Manage and maintain fixture demand planning spreadsheets and processes - Support shipment tracking efforts for deployments to ensure timely delivery - Enter detailed information for various channel sales programs accurately and consistently - Oversee 2D, 3D, and demo unit store-level validation and tracking to ensure accuracy and compliance - Manage the storage and distribution processes for NPI (New Product Introduction) graphics through collaboration with external vendors - Validate and run ship lists for graphics, security, and ancillary items to ensure accuracy and completeness - Review Post Install Reports (PIR) for NPI activities, identifying gaps in execution and creating actionable plans for improvement
  • Data Accuracy and Management Skills: Ability to accurately enter and reconcile data across internal databases, spreadsheets, and various systems
  • Project and Vendor Coordination: Experience tracking project activities, coordinating with vendors, running punch-list items, and handling PO management and scheduling
  • Documentation and File Management: Strong proficiency in handling, uploading, and downloading documents to/from internal and external systems, and maintaining fixture demand planning processes
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies, develop action plans from Post Install Reports (PIR), and validate graphics, security, and ancillary item ship lists
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills for coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and accounts, and for following up to ensure project deadlines and standards are met

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Proficient with macOS
