The Services Localization Team brings local flavor to Apple's global services by providing best-in-class copywriting, localization and copy support. The Tools team within Services Localization is looking for a Product Manager to lead proprietary tooling initiatives. Applying a blend of product expertise and business intelligence, you will interact directly with multi-functional teams to create and roll outinnovative technology. You will own multiple projects aimed at improving the Services Localization team's production workflow and operations, addressing the team's evolving business needs. Description
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the management of proprietary tools developed for the Services Localization team and their partners. Your responsibilities will include the following: Identifying business challenges and transforming them into user-friendly, scalable solutions. Drafting product requirement documents and conducting thorough reviews with relevant collaborators. Developing and refining the product roadmap. Reviewing user experience (UX) designs and obtaining stakeholder approval. Driving cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to execute cross-functional projects. Collaborating with Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Managers to establish timelines. Coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for newly introduced features. Prioritizing bug fixes and enhancements. Supporting the successful launch and adoption of new features. Communicating product updates to end users, leadership, and partners, including email communication, presentations, and cross-functional meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management
- Demonstrated success in analyzing and prioritizing multiple requests in accordance with leadership's objectives, as well as managing multiple cross-functional projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in technical concepts pertinent to product management, including software development, database management, and system integration.
- BS or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Product management experience either with internal tools or enterprise software solutions from conception to launch and beyond
- Proficiency in human interface design, with experience in developing production software.
- Strong analytical skills to comprehend user challenges and design comprehensive solutions that align with the organization's global vision, strategy, and objectives.
- Experience collaborating in a multicultural environment with teammates and partners located in diverse time zones.
- Exceptional integrity, applying high standards to all endeavors, big and small.
- Extraordinary communication and collaboration skills.
- Critical thinking and planning capabilities, enabling the identification of potential problems, opportunities, and needs in the future.
- Knowledge of no-code, low-code solutions for prototyping solutions.
- Familiarity with Java, React, and/or SQL for the development of web-based tools
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
