As a Product Manager in our team, you will be responsible for owning and developing the critical Data processing Platform. Our ideal candidate has in-depth experience working with large-scale data challenges. The candidate is proficient with technology and will be self-directed, equipped with cross-functional experience, motivated, strong analytical, product management, and influencing skills. The Global Business Intelligence team provides data services, analytics, reporting, and data science solutions to Apple's various business groups. We use diverse technology stacks such as Snowflake, HANA, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, and beyond. Crafting, developing and scaling solutions using these Big Data technologies is a core part of our daily job.

Description

We are looking for a product leader to develop a deep understanding of various products and build a clear vision of how the product will evolve in Apple's Ecosystem! You will be responsible for the end-to-end product life cycle from customer scenarios, product requirements, priorities, and customer reviews, all the way to product/feature evangelism. You will collaborate with our data engineering leaders and architects across the company. Including technical program management, business unit leaders, and ecosystem of technology partners to align on joint technology and business integration roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a Technical Product Management role, preferably for a large-scale BI products focused in the data space.
  • Understanding and demonstrated skills for developing large user communities, planning and executing product adoption.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of data pipelines, warehousing, and data management systems, and knowledge of data pipeline design and data transformation standard methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good exposure to BI tools like Tableau, SAP BI, or Microstrategy is a plus
  • Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with big data technologies and the data infrastructure ecosystem
  • Significant experience and proficiency with modern databases (Snowflake, Cassandra, Vertica, etc.) and traditional database technologies (Teradata, etc.)
  • Proven knowledge on cloud technologies on AWS, GCP or similar other platforms.
  • Should be a collaborative teammate partnering with Engineering Teams, Dev Ops, and other team members to deliver compelling products that meet those needs.
  • Leadership skills to influence partner(s) and develop strong BI roadmaps, strategies
  • Critical thinking and deep analytical abilities, strong out-of-the-box thinking, curious business and an ability to drive action
