Description
The Places Technology Services Project Manager will work closely with Places teams to understand their world, identify and conceptualize the way technology and process impact the work they do, and help guide project teams to successfully deliver innovative solutions to achieve their goals more effectively. In this role your responsibilities will include: - You facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure we're delivering the right solution, the right way, on time and on budget with the right change management and training. - You have the initiative to get into the details with customers and business stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and goals. You are effective at synthesizing these conversations into actionable deliverables and user stories. - You are comfortable acting as the liaison between business teams and technology teams to manage the prioritization, dependencies, gaps, and risks related to delivering exceptional results, and you are comfortable knowing when to escalate issues to the appropriate leaders. - You have a natural curiosity and the ability to effectively shift between communication and presentation styles based on the audience, from technical conversations to leadership updates. - You are eager to contribute to an inclusive environment through respecting each others' differences and listening to others' ideas to learn and influence outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience cultivating relationships with customers to listen, empathize, and represent their needs with cross-functional teams to solve complex process and technology problems.
- Education: BS degree or equivalent experience in project management.
- Demonstrated expertise in conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in facilitating, documenting, and analyzing requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives, identifying gaps and pain points in processes and workflows, and leading cross-functional discussions to drive alignment on proposed changes
- Extensive experience in creating and delivering training to end users on new technologies to drive adoption, with a strong understanding of organizational change management
