The Operations Program Manager for Post Ramp Qualification and AppleCare (PRQ & AC OPM) team plays a key role in launching Apple's new products on time with superior quality and maximum customer availability. The PRQ & AC OPM plays a pivotal role in managing hardware changes post launch. A successful PRQ & AC OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, we lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development teams and other functional organizations within Apple.

Description

- Lead Apple cross-functional teams & Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations teams to plan, execute and report status of PRQ and AppleCare projects - Work with OEM to plan PRQ qualification builds, secure materials, line readiness and monitor progress PRQ builds - Manage component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost - Manage, plan and seek approval for PRQ budgets - Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget for AppleCare production - Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams. - Program manage key issues, assess associated risks and communicate clearly across all levels of organization. Report current status and options for resolution to cross-functional teams and management. - Drive PRQ and AppleCare factory readiness with engineering, operations and OEM teams - Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality - Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, process engineering or product development
  • MS or BS Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
  • Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience
  • Solid communication skills and ability to build strong relationship to influence cross functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
