The Operations Program Manager (OPM) for Packaging works to launch Beats products on time, with superior product quality and maximum customer availability in addition to supporting ongoing compliance and packaging post-ramp qualifications. We are pivotal to the fast-paced development and launch of Beats products. Are you adynamic, driven, highly-organized, and detail-oriented project manager? Description

In this role you will manage new product introductions (NPI), line extensions, and sustaining project plans; track open issues, communicate project updates, and manage project deadlines independently. We work closely with other key cross-functional teams from Packaging Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Compliance, Procurement, Marketing, and Contract Manufacturers to develop the strategic direction and support overall product readiness to meet launch. -Manage multiple project timelines related to Packaging Development and Regional Ramp Readiness -Lead inbox material readiness for new product ramp and sustaining operations -Lead product compliance artwork strategy, implementation, and sample approval -Track Packaging and Compliance related Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) and sustaining ECO's that affect new part changes throughout the lifecycle of the products -Facilitate factory line layouts, station design, and optimization on NPI's -Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers and Technical Program managers to drive pack-out line improvements for optimal / efficient manufacturing processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain; working with engineering teams; and managing suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • BS in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, etc)
  • Ability to travel 30-35% of time (International & Domestic)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Engineering or MBA
  • Clear, consistent communication skills; results and action-oriented; enthusiastic and motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,600 and $166,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
