Description

We are a team of Operations Program Managers (OPM) who lead within the Worldwide Accessory Operations and collaborate with the Core Product Development team and other functions within Apple. We are responsible for launching products on time, with high quality at maximum customer availability. We are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. Are you a leader and facilitator who excels in project management? A successful OPM is dynamic, driven, organized, and meticulous; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment; and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. • Lead Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps • Drive ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams • Plan capacity and lead factory capital equipment budgeting • Handle module readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams • Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality • Lead all communications, upward and downward throughout the organization • Raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams • Lead program readiness reviews that include overall program status of design/technical development and operations. Drive closure on design, technical, and operations issues • Lead operations development builds onsite at suppliers and be responsible for successful mass production ramp up • Excellent communication, with ability to present in weekly meetings with large multi-functional teams and executives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, process engineering, or product development
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Bachelors in Engineering, a Masters in Engineering or MBA is considered a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive, results-oriented, and high attention to detail while running several work streams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication, presenting complicated information in simple terms across the organization
  • Data-driven decision making and be willing to take action
  • Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
