The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) plays a key role in launching Apple's new products on time with superior quality and maximum customer availability. NPI's are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. A successful NPI OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, we lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development teams and other functional organizations at Apple.

Description
- Lead Apple & Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds, line readiness and new product ramp readiness. - Plan capacity and lead factory development / line readiness budget. - Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost. - Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams. - Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality - Program manage key issues, assess associated risks and communicate clearly across all levels of organization, report current status and options for resolution to cross-functional teams and management. - Work with engineering, product graphics, marketing, demand planning teams to influence and implement design intent for product and packaging. - Program manage laser etching, inbox documentation, labeling, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, process engineering or product development and product launch
- Result oriented and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
- Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Supply Chain/Operations, Science or Engineering. Masters or MBA are considered a plus.
- Ability to travel internationally 20-25%.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
