As a senior member of our State Government Affairs team, you will develop policy and strategy on a range of issues, and lead Apple's interactions with state legislators. Your experience working at the state or local level in government, as well as working as a policy advocate will be vital to this role.

Description
Design and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies with state and local lobbyists. Develop and nurture relationships with key partners, as well as with industry trade associations, legislative and executive organizations and related nonprofit groups. Effectively communicate policy priorities and provide feedback on policy initiatives. Draft policy and background materials for relevant meetings and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in government, government relations, or other advocacy/engagement roles at the state or local level.
- Experience working in/with executive and legislative offices and with extensive knowledge of the legislative process.
- Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events.
- The ability to travel extensively in the 50 states during the year and significant travel within your state territory. On average 2-5 trips per month during session.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,400 and $299,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
