Description

We're seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of Engineering Program Managers (EPM) that execute engineering projects & programs for our Video business. As a manager you will partner with our stakeholders & engineering teams, and lead your EPM team to deliver exceptional products. The EPMs on this team will be involved in the initial intake and assessment of potential projects through all stages of project execution and delivery. As a hands-on manager, you should feel comfortable in all aspects of project management including, project scoping, requirements gathering, designing and discovering solutions, proposing timelines and project planning & reporting, plus communication to executive audiences on regular basis. As a manager, you will also collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams in the delivery of projects, such as Data Science, Client and Server Engineering, Production Support, Quality Assurance, Information Security, Privacy Engineering and more. Finally, this is not a task based role. It has significant ambiguity that you will need to successfully navigate to deliver projects on time and with high quality.
  • Experience leading or managing technical programs
  • Technical project/program management experience or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Strong facilitation skills to drive complex, cross functional, and comprehensive project plan
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, including presentation skills to all levels of an organization
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, focused, and self-sufficient
  • Ability to deliver high quality results while working in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital marketing technologies, automation, and analytics
  • Program management in data analytics, big data engineering, or software development
  • Passionate about protecting privacy while delivery key product insights
  • Experience with big data technologies and tools for big data event management preferred
  • Leadership and gravitas to drive conversations with analytics stakeholders
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn, and proactive attitude and energy
  • Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering majors preferred

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,200 and $285,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
