Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple's largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Manager, Digital Content Project Management oversees a team of project managers responsible for delivery of high-quality, accurate content and product data on the Apple Online Stores, Apple Store App, and ancillary platforms. This position holds responsibility for overall DCM operations through Project Management, Localization and Content Production teams through brokering collaborations, owning quality of deliverables and handoff structures, and ensuring standard methodologies/processes are in place. This includes establishing and overseeing the team's internal processes, leading worldwide planning, project intake, and capacity management, as well as reporting on team utilization and forecasting to the broader ASO management and leadership teams.

Description
Lead a team of highly skilled Digital Content Project Managers and, in some cases, managers of project managers to support the launch and maintenance of Apple online stores, by coordinating the handoff and execution of digital content, through various partner and internal teams. Develop project management objectives and process improvement plans that ensure scalability and long term excellence in delivering a flawless digital customer experience. Advocate and negotiate development opportunities for individual team members as well as broader functional goals that support overall talent succession in line with long-range business goals. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing internal key partners, coordinating projects and handoffs with worldwide Retail DCM, Marcom, Retail Marketing and other teams in Europe, India, Asia/Pacific and emerging regions. Manage early conversations with key partners to determine technical feasibility and resourcing requirements as well as provide guidance and risk mitigation for critical escalations and plan of record changes. Identify and implement innovations that embrace new technologies and methodologies in the Localization and Project Management industries with guidance from Senior Manager and Senior Leaders. Champion project management tools like Wrike to support robust intake and resourcing workflows that reflect data integrity in capacity management and utilization reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of working in e-commerce production and/or digital content management.
- 5+ years leading a team of individual contributors.
- Detailed knowledge of leading large-scale, international digital projects including localization workflows and requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous e-commerce experience a plus.
- Proficiency in one or more languages other than English.
- Experience managing managers in addition to individual contributors.
- Experience with data analysis and data manipulation formulas.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $279,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
