Description

Our team is seeking a seasoned leader to drive the successful delivery of high-impact algorithmic improvements across a fast-paced, cross-functional organization. In this role, you will lead project planning, prioritization, and execution of machine learning initiatives that are critical to business growth. You'll collaborate with EPM, engineering, and product teams to define technical requirements, lead dependencies, and deliver key milestones, while proactively identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Partnering with technology leadership, you'll contribute to shaping Apple's technical direction by assessing technical debt, aligning strategic plans, and streamlining quarterly and annual planning processes. With strong communication skills, you'll keep stakeholders informed on project progress and key updates, ensuring alignment with business priorities. As a hands-on leader, you will also develop Agile best practices, mentor your team, and build strong relationships across Apple's engineering teams to drive innovation and operational excellence at scale!

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of project management experience, with familiarity in AI/ML systems. Experience with low latency architectures, cloud platforms, and/or data-driven solutions is preferred.
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including leading cross-functional teams and mentoring direct reports.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex technical projects within matrixed organizations, applying Agile methodologies and managing dependencies, risks, and milestones.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align technical and business teams, manage trade-offs, and deliver outcomes that drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows and algorithmic improvements, including privacy-preserving technologies and real-time data pipelines.
  • Experience managing projects involving distributed systems, large-scale cloud architectures, and performance marketing platforms.
  • Strong ability to assess technical debt, contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy, and mentor EPM teams in project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem and internal engineering processes, with experience driving cross-functional planning and execution at scale.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,100 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
