Working directly with the LA Site Lead, The Maintenance Supervisor will lead with an Apple first approach to facilities management to achieve department goals. Strong candidates will have a track record of building and encouraging a culture of teamwork. This position regularly interacts with people at all levels throughout the company and should represent the Facilities team as a professional partner at all times.

Description

- Team Supervision: Provide oversight, mentorship, and direction to full-time Apple maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. - Contractor Management: Lead all aspects of the performance and service quality of third-party technicians, ensuring contract compliance and addressing any performance issues. - Operational Oversight: Lead maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, general repairs, and project support, to maintain building assets. - Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to support operational needs and maintenance requirements, encouraging a collaborative working environment. - Reporting & Audits: Conduct regular audits of service tickets and maintenance activities to identify trends, address potential issues, and ensure timely work order closure. - Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities follow federal, state, and local laws, as well as Apple policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing contracts or personnel
  • Technical training, technical school background or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing both in-house teams and third-party contractors.
  • Proven experience in facilities building maintenance, with a strong understanding of maintenance protocols, logistics, and use of work order management systems.
  • Ability to provide on-call support in case of emergencies or other off-hours issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing services for the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with team members, management, and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Apple products, Spreadsheets, BOX, Tririga / ServiceChannel
  • Ability to understand the complex business environments at Apple and excel in customer service.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day or night.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $46.60 and $70.30/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
