As an iPhone Silicon HW EPM in the product team, you will collaborate with several skilled electrical, silicon chip design, and various other engineer functions all working towards enabling our incredible products. You will use your EE/silicon background to manage new silicon development with an emphasis on dependencies to the product and features this silicon supports. You will ensure the new silicon has the right scrutiny from product architects, ensure silicon definition milestones are met, track system validation milestones, and communicate risks and issues cross functionally. Together with our broader EPM team, you'll continue to uphold and contribute to the Apple product development process and help deliver amazing consumer products and experiences!

Description

Manage the process for system definition of new silicon - architecture, design reviews, justifications, specification sign-offs Coordinate and communicate new silicon intercepts against product roadmaps Track validation and qualification coverage Track issues during development (from a product perspective) and communicate, escalate (as necessary), and drive them to closure Maintain and publish new silicon status

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS EE/ECE degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
  • Strong technical background in EE/ECE with sound understanding of Silicon development processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS EE/ECE degree desired
  • 5 years of industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in setting up program/project schedules and work breakdown structures in a hardware setting
  • Experience with portable consumer electronics devices is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
