Description

As a member of our team, you'll be a core creator, contributor, and inventor. You'll build new system UI and features from our healthy roadmap, make steady improvements to our existing foundations, and build out new ideas and innovations. You'll leverage existing foundations, fill in the gaps with innovation and creativity, and build beautiful user interfaces that are backed by powerful frameworks and daemons. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, and passionate about learning. You will not only dive deep in solving complex problems, but you will also work closely with partners in various disciplines across the company, including SW, HW, Design, Privacy and more. Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science/adjacent field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Practical experience with Swift or Objective-C
  • Exposure and knowledge of SwiftUI
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
  • Passionate about and experienced with UI development
  • Ability to produce readable and maintainable code, keeping performance, security, and privacy in mind
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to potential challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with building cross-platform UI for one or more of the following: (watchOS, tvOS, iOS, Mac Catalyst, native macOS)
  • Passionate about learning new skills and technologies quickly and independently
  • Motivated by solving complex challenges
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Experience with Human Interface guidelines

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
