Description
The group is responsible for delivering innovative features and manage the app on iOS, tvOS, macOS and visionOS platforms. Apple TV app also integrates with platform features to enrich the experience outside the app, for example TV app Widget on iOS and iPad, Siri (queries like New Movies, Filter by Actor etc.), iOS Spotlight, tvOS Top Shelf, and many more. The Apple TV App team is seeking an energetic and self-driven software engineer who will play a central role in the development of future iterations of app and system integrations. You will work with talented engineers in a multifaceted, technically fast paced environment. As a member of our fast-paced group, you will have the outstanding and rewarding opportunity to be part of a strategic project that crafts existing and upcoming products that will delight and encourage millions of Apple's customers every day. Ideal candidates are proficient in development best practices, comfortable working in large code bases, can build tools and frameworks, and can balance multiple projects and deliverables. - 5+ years of experience building iOS applications using Obj-C and/or Swift
- Experience working with UIKit, CALayers or Core Animations
- Solid Understanding of Multi Threading and GCD
- Strong understanding of data structure and algorithms
- BS in Computer Science or industry experience equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Typescript and/or Javascript
- Understanding of Runloops
- Understanding of HTTP and/or REST APIs
- Understanding of SwiftUI and/or Combine
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
