Description

As an Infrastructure Engineering Project Manager, you will be working directly with Infrastructure and SRE teams and will be responsible for planning, execution, and reporting of associated projects. In this role you will collaborate within the Wallet and Payment organization as well as other groups within Apple. You will be responsible for running infrastructure projects, traffic and network management initiatives and operational activities like system patching. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support Infrastructure projects in the area of Traffic and network management, System Engineering, Partner connectivity and operational activities working directly with Infrastructure and SRE engineering and other cross functional teams. - Lead all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition - Lead multiple cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through project life cycle - Identify inter-dependencies between the various partner groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated - Navigate and complete tasks in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions
  • Self-starter with 5+ years of strong experience in Infrastructure, Traffic Network management, platforms and external partner management.
  • Effective project management, organizational skills, technical competence, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through deadlines/projects simultaneously under minimal supervision.
  • Experience at prioritizing features, and building technical roadmaps.
  • Proven track record to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various business units.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills coupled with good business insight.
  • Outstanding presentation, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization including external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Application integration preferred
  • Exposure to security and compliance areas would be a plus
  • Degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
