Our mission is to deliver the world's best healthcare experiences for Apple employees. Join Health's AC Wellness Network LLC as the Information Technology Leader to set the long-term strategic direction and implement short-term IT plans for AC Wellness. This person will build strategic partnerships with key business groups across Apple to develop solutions that best serve our medical group. It is crucial this leader is hands-on and has a customer service attitude, where the employee/end user experience of the Wellness Center is very hi-touch.

Description

The Manager will lead a team of IT professionals dedicated to supporting the systems and network that enable our Santa Clara Valley Wellness Centers and nationwide care services. The leader of this group will be expected to lead the team in all areas including (but not limited to): • Strategy & Operations: Drive IT roadmap, policy development and rollout, and risk and compliance planning. Partner with strategic collaborators from Apple IS&T, Information Security, and Privacy to design and maintain secure networks and navigate the separation required to support our privacy position both efficiently and effectively. • Security & Governance: Maintain vendor and app management, security and privacy requirements (HIPAA, etc), device management. Enforce security policies and contribute to multi-functional privacy & security execution. • Building and maintaining current and future infrastructure: Manage enterprise communication tools, devices, printers and general office needs, as well as our networking infrastructure. Provide management, change control systems, log changes, etc., around impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for IT systems handled by the department. Keep an eye toward process improvements to build in efficiencies and automation. Establish, monitor, and manage SLAs for help desk, systems, and infrastructure. • Vendor Management: Partner with Operations and Procurement teams to handle service vendors, including sourcing, relationship building, forecasting and payments. • Collaboration and Project Management: Work multi-functionally with strategic and technical colleagues to accomplish shared goals. Project manage various projects and contribute to general planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of demonstrable experience in fast-growing companies; direct experience with SaaS products, solutions, or ecosystems preferred.
  • 5+ years technically focused, hands on, customer-facing experience project management and/or IT infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of management and organization leadership experience with consistent track record of getting results and outcomes while solving sophisticated problems. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Technical Experience: Mac, Safari, Google Workspace (G Suite) admin, Slack, Meraki, Jamf, Jira, Splunk, AWS, and other enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Mac and Mobile Hardware support (iPhones, iPads).
  • Basic understanding of networking principles (DHCP, DNS, SSID).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing projects that deliver Information Technology infrastructure including computing, telecommunications, networking, data center, security, voice, and data communications.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (ex. PCI, ISO, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, etc)
  • In addition to a solid technical background, the ideal candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The position requires excellence in communication, both written and verbal, including the ability to work well with people from a wide range of backgrounds with varying levels of technical ability throughout the department.
  • Ability to lead several complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and deliver quality work under deadline pressure.
  • Good sense of initiative, follow-through, and acute attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
