Description

In this highly collaborative role, the Video Production and Editing Specialist interacts with various people day-to-day and needs to be versatile, outgoing, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment giving input on creative needs and team development. - Setup cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment for recording interviews/ presentations/ events. - Import and organize recorded media, and assets for collaborative editing. - Take raw footage and turn it into a final product: outline, script, and assemble footage into a cohesive video/film. - Create the best output using sound, motion graphics, and close captioning. - Ensure security, privacy, and copyright policies are strictly followed. - Possesses a full understanding of on-set production, including lighting, direction, and set design. - Work closely with the Hardware Technologies OD&L Video Production and Editing Specialist to design and develop career growth & development videos as on-demand offerings. - Assist in creating a career growth and development program to produce narratives that inspire team members to learn, grow, and do their best work. - Partner with HWT experts and leaders who will be recorded sharing their stories, expertise, and advice. - Ensure brand consistency across all materials, so they meet established Apple standards of appearance, content, and style.
  • Producing content in a corporate or creative environment in support of training, branding, or communications.
  • Professional experience with Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience using DSLR, Mirrorless, or Cinema Cameras such as Black Magic Pocket 6K, RED, Canon, Sony, Nikon etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A good understanding of capture, editing and delivery formats such as but not limited to H.264/5, ProRes, Black Magic Raw, REDCODE...
  • A solid understanding of Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Illustrator, Lightroom, or Photoshop.
  • Excels in other production and post-production aspects, including audio recording, mixing and mastering, color correction and grading video.
  • Proven experience crafting videos in a professional capacity applying established brand guidelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Apple Keynote.
  • Experience collaborating and brainstorming with internal teams to generate ideas that meet specific needs.
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity.
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams and influence.
  • Time management skills - prioritizing and delivering on several projects concurrently.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to filter and distill important information to the right audience.
  • Experience working in an engineering environment is a plus.
  • BA or BS in communications, film, broadcast, media production, or related field or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $46.80 and $78.05/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
