We're looking for a Sr Analyst to join the Strategy & Planning team and contribute to our mission of scaling Wallet and Apple Pay into new and exciting markets, establishing organizationally effective practices and removing obstacles. The primary responsibility of this role will be assisting in development of the annual and quarterly operating plans with a focus on headcount resourcing. This is a chance to put your own slant on things, show creativity around the financial metrics to track performance and report to Wallet and Payments leadership team!

Description

Work closely with key functions such Finance, Humane Resource and Facilities to identify data tracking and data visualization needs or improvements, through defining investigations, exploring data, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results and deliverables. Develop informative and interactive business intelligence reports (KPIs, operating metrics, business metrics, ad-hoc queries), dashboards, and scorecards that can be consumed rapidly by decision makers Build presentations, dashboards and reports to surface data for different stakeholders Analyze and model data to unlock key insights and to improve internal processes Provide ongoing support to strategy and planning programs through general collaboration.
  • 6yrs of experience working as a Data/Business Analyst or related role
  • Proficiency with Excel, SAP, SQL, and Tableau
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial competence; FP&A experience, Advanced Excel, SAP
  • Proficient with SQL, big data systems and tools and Tableau dashboard design, development and publishing
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and see the 'bigger picture'
  • Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
