As the Head of Retention on the Global Video team, you will develop strategic programs and optimization initiatives to enhance subscriber retention and engagement for Apple TV+ and our partners. You will collaborate closely with teams throughout Apple to implement programs aligned with Apple TV+'s overall business objectives, driving revenue and subscriber growth.

Description

- Identify key priorities to reduce customer churn and implement these working with relevant teams - Closely monitor and report on performance with an intimate knowledge of subscriber health and a view on how to optimize life time value - Utilize data analytics and user feedback to see opportunities for improving the subscriber experience - Collaborate closely with product, editorial, analytics, growth marketing and engineering to maintain subscriber engagement and retention benchmarks per plan - Develop, lead and report on key initiatives that drive user engagement and life time value - Drive the understanding and application of Apple TV+ audience through segmentation and targeted communications - Lead and interact with influence with various cross functional groups including but not limited to analytics, product management, finance and marketing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in video streaming, subscription growth, digital marketing, or related roles within the media and entertainment industry.
  • Experience developing and implementing retention initiatives in matrixed environments where products or platforms cut across multiple teams and functions
  • Experience scaling programs and initiatives globally, with a deep understanding of the nuances across countries and regions
  • BA/BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • A highly skilled storyteller who is able to build business cases and effective narrative for senior executives
  • A strong analytical brain comfortable leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Experienced in balancing multiple priorities, cross functional collaboration and work streams, working with limited resources
  • Outstanding ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness.
  • An individual with natural curiosity and with an innovative and big picture approach
  • Solid understanding of product management and appreciation for roadmaps and engineering developments.
  • MBA preferred

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $211,700 and $318,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
