Description

We are looking for a Social Media Producer to support and elevate the organic social marketing for Apple Fitness+ across the main business channels, as well as those of the Fitness+ trainers. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media and experience directly handling and producing social content. The role involves conceptualizing, producing, and delivering timely social media campaigns across multiple platforms. The candidate must have a talent for identifying creative trends on social media and an understanding of asset production. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and a heavy user of a variety of social platforms. The responsibilities for this role include: • Supporting day-to-day production and community management for the main business and trainers' social • Scheduling, posting, and managing organic social on Instagram and additional platforms as required • Social asset management, sourcing and delivery - maintaining a repository of materials and supporting the internal approval process • Monitor business and trainer posts on social, flagging opportunities, feedback, or potential issues • Researching and identifying creative trends and reacting for quick turnaround ideation • Working cohesively with multiple teams on social campaigns and projects • Maintaining a consistent posting schedule and ensuring that all content meets our quality standards • Social listening, drafting and preparing responses to fans and partners in line with our guidelines and tone of voice. • Helping to lead and manage content development with agencies and partners • Flexibility with working outside normal business hours as needed, including some evenings and weekends • A willingness to travel, including internationally • This role requires in-person interaction with our staff at the Fitness+ studio up to 5 days per week. Your work hours will be based on business needs and may vary week-to-week. • This is a site based position in Santa Monica, CA.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years social media experience, including content production, calendar management, and copywriting
  • A proven understanding of major social platforms, trends, analytics, competitive analysis, and supporting tools for social
  • Experience working directly with agencies, external partners and talent to collaborate on social marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • A background in health, fitness and wellness
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • A background in post production including being comfortable collaborating with video editors
  • The ability to work on tight deadlines, rapidly react to social media activities
  • Experience in creation of social narratives through written and visual content
  • Hands-on experience with building communities on social
  • Social writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to differentiate a variety of voices as needed
  • Ability to keep track of multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,200 and $179,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
