Apple is seeking a leader for a team that supports complex financial analyses for the Americas Operations team including supply chain "what if" business cases, negotiations strategy and support, prioritizing supply chain cost savings initiatives with operational partners, and P&L forecasts. This role will partner at all levels with both regional and global teams including Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Demand Planning, and Operations. Successful candidates will be diligent, comfortable provoking vital change, capable of exceptional collaboration, a willing and capable developer of talent, and able to handle ambiguity. This position requires balancing the details of day-to-day responsibilities with big picture goals, all while continuously improving and changing course as needed.

This hire will manage a team of two financial analysts with responsibilities of driving cost savings efforts and behaviors with Operations, identifying supply chain inefficiencies and partnering to resolve, supporting broad case analysis and supplier negotiations, and building an Innovative culture within the team The ideal candidate is able balance the details of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role with the larger picture and be able to continuously improve and change course as needed while attracting, developing, and sharing talent. TEAM PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Provide comprehensive cost savings, management system, and forecast support for logistics operations for North and South America - Support procurement negotiations with relevant financial analysis and clear recommendations for optimal operational strategy - Partner strategically with global teams supporting systems and project development focused on future supply chain growth and investment. - Drive financially prudent outcomes to business challenges leveraging deep understanding of supply chain cost drivers and collaborative partnerships with operations teams. - Blend analytics, business partnership, and deep understanding of relevant cost drivers and operational considerations to facilitate cost-effective business decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience, with management experience
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Finance or other related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12-15 years experience or MBA plus 10-12 years experience
  • Experience supporting operations / supply chain functions and in a business FP&A function a plus
  • Team catalyst capable of building high-performing team through leadership that attracts, develops, and shares talent
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with outstanding attention to detail; Proven ability to distill large amounts of data into salient points that guide business decisions
  • Possess intrinsic curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo, drive automation, and continuously improve processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills leaving recipient with no ambiguity
  • Experience driving automation and continuous operational improvements
  • Capable of outstanding partnering and collaboration at all levels while comfortable provoking required change
