Apple is seeking an Executive Travel Desk Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the team. This exciting position is designed for an individual that is extremely customer focused, self-motivated, and has a passion to solve issues in an efficient and effective manner. The right individual must be effective in managing overall performance, key performance indicators, overseeing corporate policy compliance, and developing and supporting the remote travel team. The successful candidate must have effective communication and problem solving skills. In addition to providing excellent service, this hire will lead, mentor, and support the team in hiring, onboarding, and identifying training or development opportunities for the team. The Supervisor will be integral in creating a positive work environment and also seeks opportunities to review operational processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant, demonstrated experience in travel management
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6-7+ years of experience in Exec travel team management, including managing/handling VIP travels and/or team travel and advanced skills on travel industry systems
- Experience managing the needs of a team and providing assistance and direction - this includes the ability to identify, action, and raise issues as needed
- Excellent communication and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment
- Experience with assisting in hiring, onboarding and training of new employees
- Effective time management in managing important metrics and workload, especially with a remote work team
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changes priorities and deadlines
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
