As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) within the Ecosystems Products and Technology organization you will drive the rapid advancement of environmental initiatives, materials and processes that are the building blocks of our devices.

Description
You will work with a team of cross-functional partners and external vendors to develop, test, and validate new material solutions for a wide range of Apple and Beats products. Your ability to deep dive into material fundamentals, creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems, and collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams are key to delivering the best material solutions and products to our customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to independently drive projects and deliver a product
- Flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
- Strong materials fundamentals and familiarity with thermoplastics, films/coatings
- 5+ years experience in project management for mechanical engineering or materials production
- Experience collaborating with Mechanical Engineering/Design and Operations
- Experience managing key vendor relationships and complex production requirements
- Experience creating and managing complex project schedules
- Experience providing project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
- Ability to travel as this position will require domestic and international travel (up to 20%)
Preferred Qualifications
- BS Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
- Collaborate and facilitate communication across Design, Engineering, Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very aggressive schedule, and quality goals
- Lead multi-functional communication between project teams and external vendors
- Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives
- Manage and complete purchase requisitions within budget guidelines
- Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
