The role will play an important role in telling Apple's story and navigating reporting regulations. You will have exceptional project management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of evolving sustainability regulatory requirements as well as voluntary reporting approaches. In this role you will be working with a globally dispersed, cross-functional team and will oversee timelines and quantitative and qualitative data collection and review. You will also be expected to communicate routine status updates, manage project risk, and conduct post-project reviews. Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage complex reporting projects, with an emphasis on the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Direction (CSRD). The candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional and cross-organizational work streams to prepare for and develop key reports. This may include: - Develop and manage complex project timelines, ensuring accountability for deliverables, across a range of projects (i.e. double materiality, regulatory readiness, report development, data assurance) - Support internal engagement of Apple teams to socialize reporting efforts - Coordinate collection and review of content, data, and supporting materials - Provide timely project updates and elevate critical risks to senior teams - Manage external consultants, including helping to organize meetings and workshops - Support development of presentations and updates for internal governance groups and executives - Create and maintain key project governance to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success - Create, propose and implement new strategic tools, processes, and solutions in line with best practices or to improve efficiency - Conduct post-project reviews and provide analytical results to management

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience - in project management or sustainability/environmental and social reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to coordinate work products with input from teams across company, juggling different perspectives and priorities
  • Knowledge of sustainability trends, emerging regulations (EU CSRD, CSDDD), standards and frameworks (ISSB, GRI, TCFD, CDP), and reporting tools (Workiva)
  • Experience with assurance processes a plus
  • Demonstrated experience as the central contact point, managing multiple and simultaneous workstreams
  • Ability to plan, communicate, manage, and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales (i.e.: checkpoints with long-term goals while completing shorter term goals)
  • Ability to anticipate risks and issues before they intensify and proactively drive toward a solution
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexible, resourceful, and meticulous
  • A proactive, assertive, sense of urgency to problem solving
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure and clarity
  • Demonstrated ability to think ahead and take action to ensure success
  • Willingness to adapt to rapidly changing environment and new challenges
  • Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS and/or Master's degree in relevant subject

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,300 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
