The IS&T Retail Engineering organization has the goal of providing an intuitive, seamless and inspiring customer shopping experiences through interactions with our people, products and services. The Financing and Retail Systems team is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead Retail programs of varying scale and complexity. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and project management experience to drive successful project outcomes. This role requires outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the efficient execution of Retail projects. As an EPM, you will provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, promoting accountability and driving performance excellence. This person is expected to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders and external partners, serving as the point of contact for providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.

Description
As an Engineering Project Manager at Apple, you will lead multi-functional development teams while collaborating with both internal and external partners to expand our financing initiatives into new countries. This role will involve supporting Apple product launches and managing projects across different time zones. In addition, the EPM will be responsible for effectively and consistently communicating the overall program status, identifying and resolving conflicts, risks, and inter-dependencies, and adapting your approach to ensure excellence despite competing priorities and pressures. Leading meetings with 2 to 40+ participants, you will foster collaboration, seek diverse perspectives, and drive actions to achieve project goals, all while maintaining a flexible problem-solving mindset.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in engineering project management
- Successful track record in handling large-scale, high-profile projects and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Payments and financing background highly preferred
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams across different departments and geographies.
- Proficient in conveying complex information clearly and effectively to various collaborators.
- Capability to prioritize and manage deliverables with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of engineering principles and technology development processes to effectively lead technical aspects of projects.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies
- Strong communication and documentation skill
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
