Apple's Worldwide Developer Relations team works every day to provide the services, resources, and guidance that enable the world's most dynamic developer community to stretch the limits of their imaginations and bring the next big app idea to Apple's platforms to customers across the globe. We're looking for an experienced program manager to join the Worldwide Developer Relations Program and Infrastructure team to help us drive complex regulatory programs. As a member of the WWDR Programs & Infrastructure team, you'll help drive programs that support our amazing developer community and help the team navigate global regulatory changes.

Description

The candidate will be responsible for managing globally cross-functional and cross-organizational programs that increase efficiencies, improve processes, and drive engagement from our developer community. The ideal candidate should have outstanding leadership experience, top notch organizational skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan, manage, and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales. Responsibilities Include: - Ensuring programmatic commitments, procedures, financial standards, and legal requirements are met and managed. You will work with organizations across Apple to ensure that the developer offerings are aligned with the goals of each organization. - Managing projects that involve multiple facets of developer ecosystem. - Presenting program status and elevate critical risks to program management office and senior-executive teams. - Influencing decisions, introducing new insights, and managing change through collaboration and leadership. - Reading, analyzing, and interpreting data in order to provide updates and insights for key stakeholders. - Identifying and resolving conflicts, inter-dependencies and issues quickly and effectively. - Supporting a global team, requiring responsiveness and flexibility outside of normal business hours.
  • 10+ years of experience in high-tech program management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record to interpret data, identify key trends, and effectively communicate insights.
  • Passionate about creating products and services that enable third party developer success.
  • Excellent communication skills along with polished presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate solutions.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, interdependencies, and issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing support to a global team, requiring adaptability and availability beyond standard business hours.
  • Thorough knowledge of the App Store ecosystem and how developers build and submit apps.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic programs combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience as the central contract point, managing multiple, simultaneous services oriented projects.
  • Expertise in coordination & participation in requirements gathering, data definition, and design brainstorming sessions.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
