Description

- In this role, you will drive large, multi-functional efforts develop technologies across Apple. Your ability to develop relationships and trust across system and module hardware and software teams will be key to your success. - You'll be responsible for defining, implementing, and testing features while collaborating with algorithm, software engineering, embedded firmware, hardware, and testing teams. You'll ensure seamless coordination and communication among these teams. - You will build development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain throughout execution. You are able to grasp sophisticated technical topics, identify risks and mitigation paths - You will synthesize large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that enable decision making at the executive level - The ideal candidate will possess an ambitious approach to problem solving and have outstanding leadership skills built on a rock solid foundation of planning and risk management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of technical program or product management, or a leadership role in a large technical project
  • Knowledgeable of one or more technologies: embedded software, sensor systems, machine learning, computer vision, foundation models, NLP. Ability to dive into technical details
  • B.S. or equivalent experience in engineering or related scientific/technical field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development
  • M.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or PhD in technical field
  • Medical device, coaching or fitness background
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Able to work with complementary teams and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate efficiently at all levels of management
  • Self-motivated and proactive. Understand and deals well with a fast paced environment, while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
