Description

We are looking for an innovative Program Manager, to join our App Store Internal Tools team. We work on app processing and internal tools to enable producers, app reviewers, business analysts, and support teams to deliver the best possible App Store experience for our customers worldwide. You'll be working with systems that impact hundreds of millions of users, while still retaining a close contact with our day-to-day tool users. This position is responsible for facilitating the development of new workflows and ongoing improvements to the production tools within the App Store. You will lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments. You will define business, functional, and reporting requirements, often writing them yourself. Your role will be critical to improving how App Store features are reviewed, built, and executed. - Influence and lead the delivery of business-critical features built and executed on the App Store, working under tight timelines and activities with few details and specific directions. - Drive and oversee all aspects of multiple concurrent projects & features, including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, and reporting - Define business and functional requirements for features, and the tooling to support these projects - This role must not only manage the projects, but perform basic data modeling, state machine design, workflow definition, & understand the risks and benefits from both a technical and human interaction perspective - Own overall cross-functional schedules, which may impact multiple engineering teams, including client, server, internal tools, reporting, and others - Collaborate with Ops, Legal, Design, Trust & Safety, Logistics & Support, Marketing, and other organizations inside Apple to deliver features
  • 5+ years of technical program and/or project management experience involving complex server/client interactions

  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment
  • An extraordinary communicator at all levels of the organization with a knack for encouraging positive relationships
  • Naturally accountable, responsible, and self-motivated
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements gathering, design reviews, cross-functional stakeholder meetings, reporting status, and schedules)
  • Willingness to adapt in a highly demanding, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment with rapidly changing direction and new challenges
  • Experience interacting with or using task management and workflow systems is a major plus

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $282,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
