Apple's WW Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) organization focuses on developing and deploying worldwide sales programs and best practices to deliver an extraordinary customer experience in the channel and drive Apple Channel sales. With deep functional expertise in digital, physical, and people enablement spaces, our WW CSO team closely collaborates with many cross-functional groups at world-wide and regional levels. We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Product Manager (EPM) to work closely with the Product Manager and engineering teams to drive the successful execution of product initiatives. In this role, you will focus on translating product strategies into detailed technical requirements and ensure seamless coordination between product vision and technical execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and has a deep understanding of both engineering processes and product goals.

Description

As an Engineering Product Manager, your responsibilities will include: DELIVERY: - Partner with the Product Manager to understand product vision, roadmap, and strategic goals. - Translate product requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient development cycles and on-time delivery. BACKLOG & SPRINT MANAGEMENT: - Own the technical product backlog, prioritize features, and manage sprint planning in Agile environments. - Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure engineering teams stay aligned with product goals. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: - Serve as the key liaison between the Product Manager and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. - Collaborate with QA, UX/UI, and DevOps teams to ensure quality, scalability, and performance standards are met. TECHNICAL ROADMAP: - Identify technical dependencies, risks, and opportunities to improve system architecture and workflows. - Partner with engineering leads to plan and manage technical debt, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. DATA-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING: - Monitor key product metrics and work with the Product Manager to adjust strategies based on user data and feedback. - Help drive technical improvements in a continuous manner based on data and testing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years experience working in a technical product/project management role, preferably leading highly cross-functional software projects for end users
  • Outstanding problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with proven ability to solve complex technical challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the appropriate audiences
  • Superb customer focus and collaboration skills, with a knack for building strong relationships to better understand and meet customer needs
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global capacity - deploying technologies across multiple different geos
  • Ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners
  • Experience working on AI/ML related projects, data analytics and decision support
  • Strong curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Master's Degree is a plus
