Description

Contacts are the center of people interactions on Apple Devices. We're looking for a team leader to drive our feature set across user experiences, frameworks and data sync. Whilst there are a lot of opportunities ahead for the team, a key mission is driving the roadmap and executing on successful features with high quality. As the Engineering Manager for the Contacts team, your primary responsibilities will encompass the following key areas: - Leading and Developing Direct Reports: you will be responsible for growing and hiring your direct reports, fostering their professional development, and providing guidance to enhance their skills. - Prioritizing Work and Team Collaboration: you will prioritize tasks and projects within the team, ensuring that critical deliverables are met on time and within scope. - Additionally, you will represent the team's work and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and partners to achieve the desired impact. - System Knowledge and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Given the extensive scope of the Contacts team's responsibilities, you will quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the system's features. You will collaborate closely with exceptional engineering and cross-functional colleagues, leveraging their expertise to drive success and foster personal growth. By assuming these roles, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional user experience for our customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent skills and work experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
