Description

In this role, you will: Develop a survey and analytics roadmap to evolve Apple's employee listening methodology, with a focus on Apple's employee engagement survey. Drive implementation, including survey design, analytics and stakeholder management Support a holistic strategy for assessment and analytics across People Survey programs, including engagement, career milestone, and other surveys Work with others on our team to manage survey vendor, preparations for launch, and fielding, including quality control and testing, and other aspects of survey operations Manage stakeholder communications, training, and support materials for the employee engagement survey (e.g., updates to leadership on survey plans and fielding, survey reporting, and supporting action planning resources) Design and conduct pilot and ad hoc studies (e.g., online surveys, employee focus groups/in-depth interviews) and manage syndicated research sources on employee listening and engagement Partner closely with our Senior People Leaders to provide the insights needed to enable their teams to action on survey results within their lines of business Conduct advanced analytics to support ad hoc requests and explore emerging areas, and ultimately recommend what should be scaled to an ongoing survey analytic product Work with other Research Managers, Analysts, and Data Scientists across our extended team on analysis of survey data and people data (incl., time away/leave of absence, talent management, compensation, etc.) to provide a holistic understanding of employee career journey and organizational health
  • 5+ years employee listening and HR analytics experience, with a focus on assessment of employee engagement
  • Experience designing and managing employee surveys end-to-end, from gathering requirements; designing survey items and invitation logic; working with cross-functional teams and vendor to manage fielding; analyzing results and creating reports; and presenting insights to senior leaders
  • Excellent research management and organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment
  • Extremely strong communication, visualization, and articulation skills to deliver meaningful insights to shape People decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Combination of consulting and industry experience, including in a global role
  • Experience leading strategy on research methodology and survey design; identifying what needs to be measured and how to measure
  • Strong facilitation skills to build consensus for strategy across executives, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience partnering with external vendors and internal development engineering teams to support prototype design/pilots and development of survey reporting products
  • Deep expertise with application of analytic techniques, including experience with analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, SQL, Python)
  • Graduate degree in organizational psychology/social sciences or statistics/mathematics/economics
