We are looking for an experienced and outcome-driven Embedded Quality Engineer to ensure that we deliver the best in-class camera solution for iOS products! Are you passionate about testing firmware/drivers for the image processing pipeline and the machine learning neural engine? If so, you will work closely with the software development team to build and implement test plans focused on qualifying camera firmware and drivers to ensure we ship a quality product. The ideal candidate will have a history of working on successful, large-volume consumer products. • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• 3 years+ of QA experience testing embedded system products
• Proficient in Python or similar scripting language
• Experience developing automated tests supporting embedded systems or mobile devices
• Understanding of the camera technologies, image signal processing (ISP) pipeline, 3A, video formats and color space

• Strong in developing system and feature level test plans and test cases
• Familiarity and experience with command-line operation of operating systems such as macOS or Unix/Linux preferred
• Strong verbal and excellent interpersonal skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
