As Apple's EH&S Campus Lead, you will provide all aspects of EHS support across a variety of workplace settings including but not limited to office spaces, content production stages, and research laboratories. Description

As our EH&S Campus Lead, you have a deep understanding of occupational health and safety requirements and workplace evaluation as well as a knowledge of applicable regulations and laws. A proven track record to effectively interact and influence is crucial. Essential responsibilities include: - Performing EHS inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and global standards - Coordinating chemical inventories, emergency evacuation drills, new equipment and chemical reviews, and regulatory agency inspections and completing assigned compliance tasks in a timely manner - Providing mentorship and training to employees on procedures and practices to promote an outstanding culture - Conducting incident investigations and developing corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences - Staying up to date on regulations and standard processes, and making recommendations for improvements to procedures and programs - Handling EHS documentation and record keeping, ensuring all vital permits and reports are completed accurately and on time - Acting as a point of contact for EHS related inquiries and concerns from employees and onsite contractors - Coordinating and responding to onsite emergency response efforts - Participating in the review of operations, processes, and procedures at the proposal/design phase and throughout implementation to control and reduce EHS hazards - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS initiatives and improvements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of EHS experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant EHS discipline
  • Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies
  • Experience in developing, maintaining and implementing written EHS programs and processes, tools, and materials
  • Experience providing laboratory and facilities EHS support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant EHS discipline
  • 8+ years of EHS experience - preferably in multi-national companies
  • Ability to be on call and work off hours as needed, and is comfortable with acting as a first responder in emergency scenarios
  • Nationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e., Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH))

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $96,200 and $145,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
