The Apple MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod) Program is one of the largest technology licensing programs in the world. It encompasses thousands of companies from a wide array of industries and many of the best-known global brands. The program enables hardware developers to build innovative third-party accessory products that work seamlessly with Apple devices through Apple technologies like AirPlay, CarPlay, Car Keys, Find My network, GymKit, HomeKit, iPhone/iPad/iPod Accessory Protocol, and more. In this role, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to working with developers to build our growing ecosystem of MFi accessory products. Team members are passionate about engaging with partners, collaborative with cross-functional stakeholders, adept at operating in a multidisciplinary role, and ready to execute at a tactical level whenever needed.

Description

- Engage with accessory developers and manufacturers to drive adoption of Apple technologies and help bring high-quality accessory products to the Apple ecosystem. - Program-manage one or more MFi technology programs, including partner engagement, legal agreements, process and workflow design, and release of technical and program resources to developers. - Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Engineering, QA, Legal, Product Marketing, Biz Ops, Systems, and more to advance program initiatives and solve challenges as they arise. - Drive process improvements to facilitate an outstanding developer experience and greater operational excellence. - Lead developer on-boarding and day-to-day account management, including contract administration, evaluation of new proposed accessory products, and navigation of program and certification requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience working with developers and managing developer/partner programs in the technology industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze complex issues, leading to effective solutions and action plans
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; skilled at crafting and delivering nuanced messages across a wide variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in influencing without authority and driving streamlined decision-making across internal and external partners
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality
  • Capacity to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to prioritize and advance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the hardware and firmware development process, wireless technologies, and the consumer electronics space
  • Familiarity with licensing and contract negotiation
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
