As a DRAM NPI Material Program Manager (NPI MPM), you will drive the latest DRAM technologies to accompany Apple's custom SoCs across our groundbreaking product lines. In this multifaceted role, you will be the critical interface to our DRAM suppliers as well as Apple's multi-functional teams (including Silicon Engineering, System Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams) to ensure the most sophisticated DRAM technologies go to mass production to Apple's industry leading quality standards. You will also be in charge of driving optimization and improvement of end-to-end DRAM supply chain by managing key performance metrics across suppliers.

Description

- Responsible for detailed execution of DRAM material plans from component forecasting to final integration into Apple's strategic development and NPI builds. - Collaborate with SoC and System material management teams to plan and supervise distribution of new DRAM material across all systems in development. - Own relationship with DRAM suppliers and drive strategic plans to ensure Apple's build objectives are met with success. - Work closely with the DRAM specialists in Global Supply Management (GSM), Engineering, Packaging, EPM and SoC EPM/MPM teams to align on product level strategies and execute on project schedules. - Lead DRAM qualification alignment with multi-functional teams: DRAM Engineering, DRAM Package, QA, and System Engineering teams. - Manage and track DRAM configs throughout overall Apple's NPI builds, and communicate issues to DRAM multi-functional teams. - Responsible for delivering program level DRAM material risk assessment, including detailed issue identification along with mitigation plans. - Communicate DRAM material status in multi-functional forums and to executives. - Quickly resolve DRAM material / supply chain related critical issues by handling partner concerns across both vendors' and Apple's executives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven program management or leadership experience in supply-chain / vendor management experience.
  • Experience managing high volume silicon manufacturing processes and/or toolings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong vendor management experience, including capacity / schedule planning, critical messaging, and negotiations. Handling offshore vendors is considered a plus.
  • Impeccable ability to track details in complex material trackers / databases.
  • Excellent analytical skills and validated ability to drive resolution of critical problems, while under pressure.
  • Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management.
  • Ability to understand and extract action plans from discussions on supply chain disruptions and translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a reciprocal mindset.
  • Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
