Description
- Lead the seamless execution of OLED display processes by closely collaborating with multi-functional teams and managing vendor activities - Lead the development of new OLED and Color Filter processes technologies to meet the performance requirements of a wide range of display products - Drive display & component supply manufacturers aggressively on their technical innovation to achieve desired panel performance leap - Quickly solve problems faced during the development stages of products transitioning from proof of concept modules to high volume manufacturing - Design experiments to reach material solutions and corrective actions
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in display engineering, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Technical knowledge in one of the following areas: OLED Evaporation/Encapsulation, color filter process/material, cell process/material or Opto-electronics
- Experience with one of the following: photo-lithography, thin films deposition and etching, precision dispensing and inkjet coating processes, optical and material characterization, surface and interfacial science, material chemistry or device physics
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience and proven track record in flat panel display: materials, processes, manufacturing, simulation, equipment and methodology
- Experience with simulation and analysis such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Ability to model Color Filter Process, OLED Evaporation, Encapsulation and Photolithography
- High degree of flexibility-willing to fill in the gaps and being self-sufficient when necessary
- Ability to handle multiple projects, programs and tactical and strategic development efforts without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective cross-disciplinary collaboration across diverse teams and cultures
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
