Description

Apple Sales Finance serves as the hub of financial information and decision support. We're seeking a Financial Analyst to provide support to the Country Managers for our major regions (Latin America) through an understanding of the product trends, country seasonality, marketing strategies, currency and pricing impacts to prepare the quarterly unit volume forecast. You will work towards an accurate and thoughtful demand projection for different product lines and present findings to leadership on a weekly cadence. Additional responsibilities include: - Prepare weekly country/key account forecasts in close collaboration with sales teams and provide ad hoc analysis, preparation of reporting for quarterly reviews. - Engage with country/regional sales teams to learn business priorities as well as the short-term and long-term drivers of performance within products, countries and partners. - Analyze weekly results in order to judge and maintain quarterly forecasts. This includes understanding of consumer offers, seasonalities, and supply constraints. - Influence strategic decisions while working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. - Develop a deep understanding of the economic conditions of major countries in Latin America. - Provide insights of current quarter and Q+1 forecast, on drivers of performance across product portfolio and liaison between sales, Supply, Ops and Worldwide teams. - Create variance analysis of sales performance and local market insights. - Analyze risk and opportunity management and representation in regional/country reviews. - Monitor all consumer offers in the market and in the indirect channel. - Collaborate with other finance teams to understand and suggest strategic actions that will drive elasticity of demand.

• 4+ years of finance experience or related forecast/planning experience.
• Experience with Excel.
• Proficiency with Tableau.

• Experience building relationships at all levels of the organization and influencing to improve forecast accuracy across multiple teams in a cross functional environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and capable of providing broad perspective, articulate understanding of sales/commercial/business and offer solutions based advice to problems.
• Outstanding business support and analytical skills as well as planning and organizing skills.
• Experience working with Excel and large data sets.
• Experience with enterprise software systems (Business Objects, Essbase, Tableau, SAP).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
• Pro-active, "Can Do" approach to taking initiative towards operational improvements.
• Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent requests for information.
• Strong presentation skills both in person and virtually.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent relevant field.
