Apple's Worldwide Business Planning team is looking for an exceptional Data Product Manager who has the right mix of technical, communication and business skills to lead and deliver strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to initiate and drive the growth of one of the global initiatives and launch ground-breaking new features in support of Apple's multi-billion dollar demand generation strategy. In this role, you will help chart the strategic direction of a data domain by defining and implementing the data products, ensuring they meet the needs of partners, and drive actionable insights that impact decision-making across the organization. You will partner directly with Engineering, Quality and Support teams, in addition to multiple cross-functional teams across Apple, to define and deliver on a multi-year product roadmap.

Description
Your responsibilities will include: - Lead the development, adoption and evolution of data products aimed at driving value with sales finance teams in the channel sales space - Collaborate closely with sales finance and business development teams to understand business needs and integrate these insights into product development - Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and beyond, including market research, product strategy, road mapping, quality definition, and adoption strategy - Analyze business data to propose and design solutions in collaboration with architects, engineers, and business partners - Go deep in data analysis to propose quality rules and remediation activities for development, enabling up-level communication to business owners for decisions - Evangelize the product vision within the department and cross-functional teams to achieve product objectives - Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, building long lasting relationships with both parties - Apply data governance strategy ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency by collaborating with stakeholders to manage data access, usage, and lifecycle - Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to continually innovate and improve the product - Collaborate with Data Solutions & Initiatives program management to communicate data product status, resolve issues, align with department standards and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time - Ability to work in an agile team with a hands-on approach International travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data product management, preferably managing data for process automation and insights in the sales finance space, with a proven track record of successful delivery and continuous improvement
- Work experience in sales, finance or business development teams with exposure to sales finance and supply chain processes and strategies, including demand generation, pricing, sales scenario planning and sales forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to drive change, ensuring they receive the optimal solution while helping them understand any differences from their initial request
- Experience in analyzing large datasets using SQL and/or Pandas, contributing to predictive models, and understanding statistical methods to drive business planning
- Experience building complex data products with architects, engineers and data scientists in a professional environment
- Understanding of federated governance for data product development and a willingness to test the boundaries to enable federation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, including senior executives and technology leaders
- Experience using Agile or Kanban software development methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, relevant field or equivalent experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, and the ability to assimilate and learn complex processes in a changing and dynamic work environment on a steep learning curve
- Experience leading and influencing various cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive decisions and outcomes
- Master's degree preferred
