Description
- Design and implement end-to-end database solutions across cloud data warehouses (such as Snowflake), lakehouse environments (e.g., S3), and enterprise solutions (SLM/S4 Hana) - Ensure data integrity and provide meticulous attention to data quality in all business analytics solutions. - Create test strategies, test scripts, and test plans to validate complex BI data from sources like SAP SLM and S4 Hana systems and other sources. - Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts and apply scripting languages like Python to automate workflows. - Build and maintain normalized database designs and data models to ensure data accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into technical solutions. - Deliver impactful data visualizations in Tableau that bring insight and drive business outcomes - Leverage data storytelling techniques to present data findings, insights, and hidden patterns to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant, progressive experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer or other relevant field
- Shown experience in BI data testing and data validations; familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Dataiku, Keystone, Alteryx), version control tools (e.g., GitHub), event streaming platforms (Kafka), and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins); Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting and scripting languages such as Python
- Demonstrated experience in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Tableau
- Experience in data modeling, normalized database design, and business metrics application
- Exceptional data-driven understanding with the ability to draw insights, uncover patterns, and solve complex business problems through data analysis
- Solid experience in data engineering tools and concepts, data pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies, in support of responsive and highly interactive data products
- Experience in data wrangling and ensuring data integrity across various projects
- Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail for translating data insights into business impact
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $188,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
