Description
In this role, As a leader, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and operating innovative data solutions that are not only scalable but also adept at applying various technologies and frameworks to meet our complex business needs. Your team will work with massive internet-scale data across numerous infrastructure domains, undertaking in-depth quantitative analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and completeness and distilling data into actionable and intuitive visualizations to drive informed decision-making. Responsibilities: Lead design and build executive reporting solutions, and exploratory self-service tools Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and partners to support data modeling, analysis, and reporting needs. Develop automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple databases. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and issues quickly and effectively Take ownership of individual platform components and help set the vision and architecture for it. Use open source framework to build applications Build generic and reusable solutions that can scale and use various technologies and frameworks to address complex business requirements Demonstrate ability to effectively interact at all levels
- B.S in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of industry experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Warehousing
- Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or others used for data analysis and presentation
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar filed
- Proficiency in advanced SQL and performance tuning across MPP/NoSQL databases like Vertica, Snowflake, and Redshift within large-scale environments
- Ability to design comprehensive reporting frameworks, build interactive reports, and use data visualization tools effectively.
- Experience managing technical / engineering development teams, hiring people, and building impactful teams
- Experience in conducting data analysis using statistical techniques, and predicting future trends using python and other technologies.
- Solid background in data center infrastructure
- Expertise in performing in-depth reconciliations of data sets across multiple systems, documenting procedures, and establishing SOPs to maintain data integrity.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to derive actionable business recommendations based on analytical findings.
- Effectively and consistently communicate status updates at multiple levels throughout the organization
- Experience on negotiation skills and ability to influence partners without direct authority
- Experience managing highly-complex, cross functional projects
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
