Description
This Cross-Functional Producer will support and lead creative content production in collaboration with the Communications team for projects across several social and web platforms. In this role, you will manage the creation, production, and approvals of compelling editorial content, supervising image and video asset production and procurement, localization efforts where necessary, and editorial schedule management, among other functions. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Spearheading Newsroom story production across social and web platforms and facilitating communication across Newsroom team, Comms team, Product Marketing, EPSI, Marcom Brand team and other LOBs. Developing, maintaining and communicating an editorial calendar of social stories for distribution across Newsroom and Comms teams. Working with Newsroom cross-functional producers to identify and handle asset deliveries for Newsroom creatives and Comms team. Tracking and communicating project progress by managing project channels in Slack, shared folders across Box, booking scheduled publishes in iCal, scheduling and routing projects in Opal and other shared project management apps. Managing and sharing project documentation including briefs, schedules, workflow and localization details, legal requirements and other specifications. Identifying and driving approvals during story production, routing design layouts and preview links for approval where necessary. Scheduling and overseeing publishes across Newsroom social and web platforms. Moderating comments across social posts on a regular basis. Occasionally handle localization efforts across publishing channels. Uphold Marcom security standards and confidentiality by helping manage team disclosures and briefings.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years experience producing social media or comparable content in media, advertising, publishing, editorial or related environment
- Bachelor's degree or similar educational experience
- Familiarity with and passion for storytelling on social platforms like Instagram, X and YouTube; with an informed awareness on emerging social storytelling trends
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, development, and business collaborator roles in the creation of social storytelling

- Ability to work under tight deadlines to organize and communicate information quickly and succinctly
- Adept at listening for pertinent project info during meetings, identifying action items and communicating them across the team

- Highly organized, noticing opportunities for streamlining processes
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
