Description
We're seeking a talented content production engineer, who will ensure quality, curated, digital content is produced and delivered on time to Apple stores. This work will be achieved in collaboration with Apple Retail, WWPM, Software Engineering and IS&T organizations. Successful candidates are humble, curious, creative, tenacious, organized, have clarity of thought and can lead through ambiguity. - Understand and implement the end to end demo content creation and production process, including scripting or working in command line where necessary for automation of repetitive tasks, as well as maintain technical documentation - Provide clear technical feedback to cross-functional engineering teams by testing tooling produced by engineers, assisting with root cause analysis, triaging bugs. Influence and contribute to short term workarounds - Provide clear business and user requirements to engineering team for tooling improvements, enhancements and roadmap development - Participate in the planning cycle, as well as the content curation and procurement process to ensure Plan of Record (POR) for all releases are clear. Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical content management/production experience, technical troubleshooting related to Apple devices, including config management, localization, as well as deployment methods to Apple devices in stores
- Demonstrated proficiency with command line interface (CLI), terminal tools, scripting, version control tools such as git
- Demonstrated proficiency with QA testing workflows, trouble-shooting and triaging issues with content bundles
- Demonstrated proficiency with iOS, MacOS, visionOS platforms and file structures, as well as Apple technologies and Apple devices
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Swift, Python
- Familiarity with Bash/Shell script
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and Git workflows
- Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
