Apple's Biophotonics group is seeking a Clinical Research Scientist. The candidate will join a team of innovative scientists and engineers to develop a new generation of bio sensing technologies. The role's primary function is to support planning and executing clinical and user studies and other ongoing experimental efforts within the team.

Description
• Assist internal and external groups to develop study protocols, plans, budgets, and schedules for clinical and user studies. • Manage execution and logistics of clinical and user studies. • Serve as a conduit between development, experimental and analysis teams to ensure study design and execution are consistent with study objectives. • Collaborate with team members to communicate study progress, results, schedule and budget to project team. • Assist in the design and execution of user studies to provide reliable and meaningful data for prototype evaluation. • Monitor the quality and completeness of datasets returned from user studies in progress. • Train external collaborators on study procedures and monitor their performance.
- Bachelors in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering or a related life sciences or engineering discipline.
- Experience with conducting clinical research in industry or academic settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with conducting medical device user studies
- Background in chemistry / biology
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
