Apple seeks a technical leader to program manage our groundbreaking Cellular chipsets to meet performance, quality and schedule requirements for Apple products. You will be responsible for multi-functional team coordination, communication and representation across Cellular systems and silicon engineering ecosystem from concept to production. Technical background crafting product and test engineering for cellular products will be key to your success in this role. Ideally, you will also have project management experience in some aspect of cellular platform/system development. You will also work in a multidimensional engineering environment where sophisticated multi-tasking skills and real-time crisis management are all desired strengths for this position.

Description

- Work on a Program Management team responsible for driving technical issue resolution to enable timely silicon to meet daring product schedules of groundbreaking silicon. - Track program landmarks for all phases of Baseband Silicon and System validation: Pre-silicon development, prototyping, Silicon Bring-up, System Bring-up, and Production Ramp. - Interface and drive silicon issues within multi-functional teams: Design, Systems Engineering, Validation, Technology, FW/SW, Test engineering, etc. - Drive technical sessions with internal/external multi-functional partners to supervise and follow up issues/customer concerns. - Align with multi-functional teams to deliver silicon configurations to ensure smooth bringup and meet product schedules. - Drive risk management & mitigation strategies to ensure program delivery. - Focused issue reporting, bug tracking, and communication of program risks & status.
  • BS and 10+ years relevant industry experience
  • Previous SoC development experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cellular, Wireless silicon, or system validation experience.
  • Knowledge of cellular systems for 2 or more modern communications standards, 4G and/or 5G cellular systems/standards preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, social, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to tailor information to the right audience, including executive management.
  • Experience working in a dynamic multi-functional engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management and leadership skills.
  • Expertise owning and driving project development/technical program management.
  • Hands on experience working with systems & design flows, and leading cellular/wireless projects from concept to production.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
