The Camera & Photos team focuses on user-experience by leveraging computer vision and image processing through machine learning. Our team works hard on products that ship to millions of people. We are looking for an automation engineer who is passionate about quality, automation and performance to help us deliver the best Camera and Photos applications to the world!

Description

• 4-6 years experience in the software industry, with focus and true passion for quality via automation test design and development
• Strong understanding of quality assurance software testing, including test planning, as well as working with automated test suites
• Strong experience developing automation using Python or Swift, Jenkins, shell, JSON, and SQL
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, especially as they pertain to Python or Swift
• The successful candidate will be highly motivated, can multi-task, and change priorities quickly as needed.

• Familiarity with Testing Frameworks - eg, such as pyunit, etc.
• Working knowledge of Apple platforms such as iOS and macOS is preferred
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and communication skills
• Strong debugging skills in python, Swift or similar language
• Experience with imaging and photo applications and their related technologies desirable
• Experience with AI technologies a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
