As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC)! You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you'll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. Together, we will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices! In this exciting and highly visible role, you will be responsible for architecting and supporting a complex system that can be used to run various analysis, QA, and release processes for a large set of IPs. The role will require you to create specs, and plan and execute activities by collaborating with CAD and design team colleagues.

Description
- Architecting and supporting automation solutions aimed at greatly reducing design workload. - Support and enhance an in-house UI that simplifies visualizing and monitoring extremely large workloads. - Develop utilities to extract, track, and manage metrics data from these analysis flows. - Develop/assist development of rich dashboards that the design teams can use to get detailed information for each design. - Spec and develop utilities to check for data consistency and quality of design analysis results. - Interface and collaborate with multiple CAD/design teams, integrate their flows into the system, and come up with robust QA flows to check the resulting data.
- Knowledge of VLSI design fundamentals and design flows for custom and ASIC designs
- Programming language experience in Perl or Python
- Knowledge of basic ML algorithms and LLM fundamentals
- Minimum requirement of BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience

- Experience in completing/delivering projects on time.
- Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities.
- Ability to perform well on schedules and coordinate with cross-functional team members.
- High ownership, self-driven, hands-on individual to drive quality across the project.
- Drive all the technical aspects of the flow and framework development.
- Proficient with programming languages like Python, Perl, C++, etc.
- Strong object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with frameworks like React and tools like Splunk, MySQL, Perforce, Git is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
