The Apple Information Security Business Intelligence team delivers metrics and information to support the decision making across the Information Security organization. We are seeking an extraordinary Business Intelligence Developer who can thrive in an environment where both individual drive and team collaboration are critical. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, maintenance, and support of the BI team's web site, web-based data visualization and analytical tools.
Description
The Business Intelligence team's web site is central to delivering key information, metrics, and related resources to the Apple Information Security organization. The Business Intelligence Developer is primarily responsible for the site front-end. The ideal candidate must excel at researching solutions and collaborating across Information Security and other Apple organizations in support of the BI team's mission. * Collaborate with partner teams, such as SRE for site hosting and managing CI/CD pipelines * Collaborate with the Data Engineers, Analysts, and other resources to deliver and maintain metrics * Validate technical feasibility of proposed features * Develop and ensure the quality of site features * Create and enhance web-based data visualizations and analytical tools * Implement integrations with existing tools and platforms to extend the functionality of the BI web site * Ensure site availability and address critical issues * Learn and adapt to new technologies and topics as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- Comfortably and quickly adapt to changes in priorities to best support the needs of our business
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Self-motivated with a passion for operational excellence, quality, and attention to detail
- 5+ years professional experience in web development
- 2+ years professional experience using HighCharts to deliver data visualizations
- Experience with developing websites by leveraging design systems and React component libraries
- Able to quickly and independently troubleshoot production web application issues
- 3+ years professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS
- React, including Next.js, Server Side Components, Lifecycle Hooks
- MongoDB, including, Mongoose schemas, pipeline and view creation, query syntax, maintenance (performance tuning, database health, migration, and backup)
- AWS SDK
- CI/CD Pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Information Security domain
- Proficiency with Python
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools
- Experience implementing and leveraging site traffic reporting and analytics
- Experience using D3 for data visualizations
- Experience using and releasing open source software in corporate environments, with knowledge of licensing and legal review processes.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
