Battery Performance testing team is looking for a Lab Program Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and tracking battery qualification testing across different teams within the battery group as well as external vendors. The program manager will help coordinate the process flow for the lab, data systems readiness, metrology verification, and test resource management to ensure that all testing is carried out according to expectations of the cell and battery engineering teams and standard operating protocols.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the following: • Establish requirements for test readiness based on engineering input • Establish standard PM processes for setting up tests, work directly with testing operations teams to develop documentation for complex processes • Receive test inputs on new investigations, proactively work to resolve problems that arise related to new testing protocols • Plan and coordinate battery qualification resources such as test channels, connections, fixtures, chambers • Work with Lab managers and other stakeholders to ensure schedule commitments are met and test channels/chambers are correctly allocated, escalate concerns as appropriate to ensure timelines are met • Forecast and coordinate test requirements, inventory and purchasing needs with external battery testing vendors • Coordinate and monitor vendor testing progress and resolve logistical issues to expedite project completion turnaround times

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or 3+ year's experience in testing of devices (e.g., in semiconductors, solar, aerospace or energy storage industries).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Program management tools (MS Project, MS Excel, FileMaker etc.)
  • Strong track record of creating and maintaining process documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project execution, from planning to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required.
  • Experience with battery test protocols, testing processes, MES systems.
  • Able to effectively contribute to a dynamic and often fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $56.65 and $85.52/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
